Cinematography Choice of the Week: JEG FORVENTER INGEN (I expect no one)

The camera can only take you a fourth of the way there. The other three/ fourths is all about story, acting, direction, set design and shot composition. It was really inspirational to watch Kristoffer Borgli, short film, “JEG FORVENTER INGEN (I expect no one).” Beautiful sets and spectacular shot composition. Not to mention a very eerie flat color palette that is soothing but uneasy at the same time. This short really speaks for itself and deserves some serious attention.

    Absolutely gorgeous.

A pretty easy read, with enough technical info to actually be helpful without being so dull it glazes you over. A good selection of charts and graphs regarding everything from POV, to lighting, and editing. For the first time cinematographer, this is a great starting reference.
